Abstract
[cat] I llavors és un projecte que utilitza la fusta en desús dels palets com a material escultòric. Vaig anar a buscar les fustes al meu poble per crear una relació més personal amb l’escultura. Per incrementar la sensació d’acolliment vaig decidir fer una estructura esfèrica de gran format en la qual les persones pugessin entrar.
Seguint la filosofia Wabi Sabi, referent a la bellesa dels materials vells i el minimalisme en els habitatges, he construït un espai d’introspecció personal amb una obertura que invita a la seva exploració. Els raigs del Sol pas-sen a traves dels espais irregulars de la xarxa modular, creant així, un joc de llum i ombres a l'interior que va canviant durant el dia. La construcció esfèrica culmina amb una obertura circular que deixa veure el cel i les branques dels arbres.
[eng] I llavors is a project that uses the unused palet wood as sculptural material. I went to my village to fetch the pie-ces of wood to create a more personal relationship with the sculpture. To enhance the sensation of reception I decided to build a spheric structure on human scale so that people could access. Acording to the Wabi Sabi Philosophy, which refers to the beauty of old materials and the minimalism of the living enviroment, I built a zone of personal introspection with an entrance which invites to its exploration. The sunlight goes trought the irregular holes of the modular net, creating a combination of lights and shadows reflecting inside and changing during the day. This spheric construccion ends with a circular opening that allows you to see the sky and the trees branches.
