[spa] El presente trabajo consta de una parte teórica en la que se hace un breve
recorrido histórico acerca del constructo de inteligencia y de las diferentes
tipologías relacionadas con el concepto de altas capacidades, también se
muestra un marco legal a nivel nacional y autonómico, concretamente de
Cataluña, así como un breve análisis de la situación escolar actual de estos/as
alumnos/as.
La parte de trabajo de campo se ha realizado con la metodología de estudio de
caso del centro educativo Institució Montserrat como modelo de buenas
prácticas para la intervención con el alumnado con altas capacidades
intelectuales. Para ello se han utilizado tres instrumentos: análisis de
documentos, entrevista y la observación directa llevada a cabo durante las
prácticas curriculares en esta institución.

On one hand, a short historical journey thought the intelligence’s construct is presented along with different types involving high capacities. Furthermore, a legal regional and national framework is also mentioned, specifically in Catalonia, where it’s also made a brief analysis of the student’s school situation at present. On the other hand, fieldwork has been based by using the methodology in the case of the Instutició Montserrat educational center as a model of best practice for intervention with students with high intellectual habilities. Three main tools have been used to achieve this aim: the document analysis, the interview and finally direct observation while carring out curricular practices at the aformentioned institution.
