Abstract
Este Trabajo Final de Grado estudia el paramento exterior del anfiteatro romano de Mérida desde una perspectiva arqueológica. El estudio se enfoca en los aspectos arquitectónicos y constructivos mediante la metodología de análisis utilizada por la Arqueología de la construcción. Se identifican y registran los elementos arqueológicos presentes en el paramento, cuya lectura permite una interpretación global sobre el
proceso de construcción, sus dinámicas y particularidades.
In this Degree Dissertation the external wall of the Roman amphitheatre of Merida is studied from an archaeological perspective. The study focuses on the architectural and structural features using the methodology of the Archaeology of architecture. The archaeological elements present on the wall have been identified, registered and integrated into a global interpretation about its construction process, dynamics and distinctive features.
