[Ressenya de llibre] Después de Reconstructing Karl Polanyi: Excavation and Critique (London: Pluto Press, 2016), Karl Polanyi: The Hungarian writings (Manchester University Press, 2016) y Karl Polanyi: The limits of the market (Cambridge: Polity Press, 2010), el prolífico historiador y politólogo inglés, Gareth Dale, acaba de publicar la que muy probablemente sea la biografía definitiva del antropólogo, historiador y filósofo húngaro, Karl Polanyi (1886-1964). Se mire por donde se mire, Karl Polanyi, A Life on the Left es un libro excelente e imprescindible para toda aquella persona interesada en la obra de Polanyi y, de hecho, para toda persona interesada en la historia de la Europa occidental y del este desde finales del siglo XIX hasta la contrarreforma neoliberal que supuso el último tercio del siglo XX.
