Sistemes dinàmics caòtics

Abstract

[en] Chaotic motions are unpredictable, and the mathematical foundations in the theory of chaotic dynamical systems are not yet well established. How can we logically understand unpredictability and express it within a mathematical framework?

In this work, the behavior of chaotic dynamical systems is analyzed. To do so, dynamical systems are studied starting from the basic geometric objects associated with them. More specifically, the focus is on dynamical systems with chaotic behavior by studying them through the mathematical theory of chaos. Finally, all these concepts are applied to classical examples of chaotic dynamical systems.

[ca] Els moviments caòtics són impredictibles i els fonaments matemàtics en la teoria dels sistemes dinàmics caòtics encara no estan ben establerts. Com podem entendre lògicament la impredictibilitat i expressar-la en una configuració matemàtica?

En aquest treball, s’analitza el comportament dels sistemes dinàmics caòtics. Per fer-ho, s’estudien els sistemes dinàmics a partir dels objectes bàsics geomètrics que estan associats a ells. Més concretament, s’aprofundeix en els sistemes dinàmics amb comportament caòtic, estudiant-los a partir de la teoria matemàtica del caos. Finalment, s’apliquen tots aquests conceptes en exemples clàssics de sistemes dinàmics caòtics.
