Qui estudia el grau de Mestre/a d’educació infantil? Identificant i relacionant els perfils socioeconòmics i les creences de l’estudiantat

[cat] Sota la tesi que l’estudiantat del grau de mestre/a d’educació infantil a la Universitat de Barcelona (UB) té un perfil socioeconòmic baix i que sosté creences educatives inapropiades, el present treball es proposa identificar les dues variables, a la vegada que s’indaga si l’origen socioeconòmic condiciona les mencionades creences. Per a aquest propòsit, es condueix un estudi transversal i quantitatiu que utilitza una enquesta com a instrument de recollida de dades. L’anàlisi consta de descripcions estadístiques i d’estudis ANOVA i T-Test fets amb el programa informàtic SPSS per a comprovar la possible significativitat entre els perfils socioeconòmics i les creences. Els resultats assenyalen un perfil socioeconòmic baix, unes creences majoritàriament apropiades i una relació no significativa entre les dues variables. Aquests resultats permeten profunditzar en les necessitats de l’estudiantat de mestre/a d’educació infantil, alhora que suposen una primera i petita aproximació als estudis que relacionen els i les mestres amb variables contextuals a un nivell macro.

[eng] In the light of the thesis that students in the Early Childhood Education Degree (ECE) at the University of Barcelona (UB) hold a low-socioeconomic status and inappropriate educational beliefs, the present work aims to identify these variables. At the same time it is investigated whether teachers' socioeconomic conditions influence the aforementioned beliefs. For this purpose, a cross-sectional and quantitative study is conducted using a survey as a data collection instrument. To analyze the results, statistical descriptions were conducted as well as ANOVA and T-Test studies made with statistical program SPSS to verify the significance of the relationship between both variables. The results indicate that pre-service teachers on ECE hold a low socio-economic profile and mostly appropriate beliefs. In regard to the relationship between the variables, non-significant evidences were observed. These results make it possible to delve deeper into the needs of pre service teachers and, at the same time, this study is a first and small approach to studies that relate teachers to contextual variables at a macro level.
