Abstract

At the hospital's door, children with physical or psychic disabilities or even serious patients with serious illnesses forgotten. This caused an increase in wet nurses working in the hospital. This document provides a bibliographical compilation with which to synthesize about the life of these children and the guesses that accompanied them, as well as a recapitulation what an ordinary day in the General Hospital of Barcelona was like, and whathappened to the children when they reached adulthood.
