L’ornamentació en el punt de mira. Aportacions i valoracions sobre la finalitat de les arts decoratives

[cat] A trets generals, l’objecte d’estudi són les arts decoratives i més concretament, el fet de decorar. És a dir, s’establirà una revisió sistemàtica de les aportacions, teories, valoracions i apreciacions de diferents autors i autores sobre les arts decoratives. Es pretén respondre a preguntes tals com per què l’ésser humà decora? Es pot parlar de grans moments amb una mateixa voluntat decorativa? I per a resoldre aquestes qüestions caldrà sistematitzar què han aportat diferents autors al tema escollit, i encara més concretament, des d’una vessant antropològica, social i cultural. És a dir, s’analitzarà com s’han concebut i analitzat les arts decoratives, la seva finalitat, motiu o intenció.

[eng] In the first place, the object of study is the decorative arts and more specifically, the fact of decorating. That is to say, a systematic review of the contributions, theories and appreciations of different authors about ornamentation. The main purpose is to answer questions such as why do human beings decorate? Or also, can we talk about general moments with the same decorative will? In order to solve these interrogations, it will be necessary to systematize what various authors have contributed to the chosen theme. And moreover, and even more specifically, from an anthropological, social and cultural point of view.
