Estudi arqueològic sobre les rotes i el seu entorn immediat del Parc Natural de la Península de Llevant (Artà, Mallorca)

Abstract

[cat] Les rotes eren les terres de cultiu que pertanyien als roters, persones del món rural mallorquí dels segles XVII, XVIII i XIX –en ocasions, fins i tot, inicis del segle XX– que formaven les classes socials més baixes. Aquesta activitat antròpica, en conseqüència, va originar la construcció d’estructures diverses sobre el terreny natural (barraques, casetes, marges, corrals, etc.). En el següent TFG es pretén, a partir de l’aplicació d’una retícula de prospecció amb divisions de 800x800 m sobre el municipi d’Artà (Mallorca), l’elecció d’un dels quadrants per analitzar els elements que el conformen. Es proposa, a continuació, l’anàlisi arqueològica en profunditat d’alguns d’aquests habitacles humans i quina relació presenten amb altres estructures de les rotes.

[eng] The rotes were the farmland that belonged to the roters, people from the Mallorcan rural world of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries –sometimes, even at the beginning of the 20th century– who formed the lowest social classes. This anthropic activity, consequently, originated the construction of various structures on the natural terrain (barracks, small houses, marges, corrals, etc.). In the following Final Project of Degree it is intended, based on the application of a prospecting grid with divisions of 800x800 m over the municipality of Artà (Mallorca), the choice of one of the quadrants to analyze the elements that make it up. Next, we propose an in-depth archaeological analysis of some of these human dwellings and what relationship they present with other structures of the rotes.
