Code to estimate global lake and reservoir CO2 emissions by calcification
    (2020-11) Khan, Hares
R code used in the study: Khan H., Marcé R., Laas A., Obrador B. The relevance of pelagic calcification in the global carbon budget of lakes and reservoirs. Limnetica. The code was used for assessing the effect of calcite precipitation on pCO2. The outputs of this model were then used with the global distribution of lakes per alkalinity level (data from Marcé et al. 2015. Nature Geoscience) for upscaling the CO2 emitted by calcification at a global level.

Cramer-von Mises test for the difference between the spatial distributions of two populations
    (2020-01) Blanco Moreno, José Manuel
This package offers an R interface to speed-up and facilitate employing the Cramer-von Mises test proposed by Stephen Syrjala to test for the difference between the spatial distributions of two populations sampled at the same locations. The zipped file allows the installation as with any other R-package.

Correlation analysis in the presence of spatial autocorrelation
(2020-01) Blanco Moreno, José Manuel; Legendre, Pierre
This package aims to offer an R interface for the functions developed by Pierre Legendre to perform t-tests for correlation coefficients taking into account the spatial autocorrelation of the data. This package is actually a set of wrapper functions to the subroutines contained in the code developed by Pierre Legendre (plus improvements on the Fortran code to handle any number of variables, and geographical coordinates). The zipped file allows the installation as with any other R-package.

Finite mixture model: decompose a cytogram into "n" sub adjacent asymmetric Gaussian bells. A Mathematica 9 script.
    (2017) Butturini, Andrea
This script implements the Laplacian filter and the finite mixture approach to decompose a surface into an arbitrary number “n” of bi-dimensional asymmetric Gaussian probability distributions. Finite mixture are widely used in data mining or pattern recognition. Here, this tool in implemented to decompose an arbitrary surface f(x,y) with some peaks and shoulders. This approach can be useful to decompose any bidimensional data array. This document describes how to use this approach to deconvolve a cytogram.

Aplicación CABIRA (Calidad Biológica de los Ríos Altoandinos)
(2013) Prat i Fornells, Narcís; Villamarín Flores, Christian Patricio; Rieradevall i Sant, Maria; Universitat de Barcelona. GRC Freshwater Ecology and Management

    R commands secondary production
(2011-11-02) Gaudes Saez, Ainhoa; Ocaña i Rebull, Jordi; Muñoz Gràcia, Isabel
R commands to calculate the secondary production estimates using the size-frequency method after Hynes and Coleman (1968), Benke (1979) and Huryn (1996).
